A nasal fracture can lead to both cosmetic and structural problems for the patient. The condition can cause the nose to appear crooked, compromising the profile.
Nasal Fracture Treatment
Our team will first perform diagnostic testing to determine the extent of the damage to the nose. We may utilize x-rays, CT scans, and other imaging tests during this process. In some cases, the nose can be repositioned on the spot using local anesthesia if the fracture is addressed early enough.
If the nose bends to one side, or the septum has deviated, surgery may be the best option to fix the problem. A surgical procedure can improve the patient’s overall quality of life by restoring proper breathing and addressing the cosmetic aspects of the fracture.
