A graduate of the University Of Maryland School Of Medicine, Dr. Mandell served his internship and residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City and completed a clinical and research Fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. During his training he worked with recognized leaders in Pediatric ENT. He is the former Director of the Pediatric Airway Center at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and is the current co-editor of the most definitive textbook on Pediatric Otolaryngology. He is an Affiliate Associate Professor of Otolaryngology at University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and Affiliate Associate Professor of Clinical Biomedical Science at Florida Atlantic University Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine and Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatric Otolaryngology at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Mandell is a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, American Academy of Pediatrics, American College of Surgeons, and is a member of the prestigious American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology and Society for Ear, Nose & Throat Advances in Children. His extensive knowledge and experience are exclusively dedicated toward the treatment of children.
