Roland Gerencer MD, FACS, FRCS(C)

Dr. Gerencer completed his M.D. degree cum laude from the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta Canada, from which he then went on to complete a Residency in Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery in 1998. Dr. Gerencer then went on to complete a Fellowship in Rhinology at Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois followed by a Preceptorship in Advanced Rhinology and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery in Graz, Austria. Dr. Gerencer was in private practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico for over 25 years before relocating to Florida. His clinical and research interests revolve around the surgical management of chronic sinusitis, nasal polyps, and more recently, the use of hypoglossal nerve stimulation for the treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnea. In his free time, Dr. Gerencer enjoys international fly fishing, photography, hiking and classical music.
